Re: [Digital BW] microbanding

2002-05-29 by Julian Thomas

good point, no I haven;'t . As you can imagine, I'm starting to get serious
grief for trying to solve this! Didn't help when in response to some serious
talk about 'do you really need to do this now' I muttered that I could have
bought an Imacon, a new pc and a 7000 for the price of this wedding and then
I wouldn't need to spend time fixing a consumer PC!' Not my finest hour
(sigh).
Good luck on the 3rd!

Julian

Julian, congratulations!
Looks like it's wedding time: for me it's June, 3, and I'm going from Italy
to a spanish island (Lanzarote).
By the way, back to your problem, have you tried printing with the epson
driver rather than with piezo? Just to make sure it's a hardware issue.

Alessandro

Austin, I'd very much like more info. I'm getting married in a couple of
days so my PC time is really limited - but I'll contact you after i get back
from Sicily (agreed not to take a camera so I'm just taking my Holgas!)
