Hello Ed, welcome to the group! I haven't tried this particular paper / printer combo but here is what I do with my 1160 which may have similar feeding mechanisms. I cut a sheet of corrugated plastic board about 4.5 mm thick (5/32"). The width is the same as your paper, the height slightly less so you can find the edge of the paper easier. The thickness and stiffness are very important. I use the plastic instead of the cheap cardboard because it doesn't dent as easily and the paper slides well. But to make sure it will not even start to be sucked in along with the paper, I glue a 1" wide strip (cross bar) on the back right where the Epson paper support begins and parallel to the short side of this board. I remove that Epson paper support above where the Epson paper guide slides, allowing for this cross bar to sit along the edge. I make the cross bar a bit shorter so it doesn't ride on top of the sliding paper guide (the one that keeps the side of the paper straight). Its a bit tough to put in words, but if you have the printer in front of you, it should all make sense - I hope. I make three of these boards for the 3 popular widths 8.5", 11", 13". I use them both on the 1160 and 1270 and have never come back to the big Epson removable paper support with its top extension.
