Scott, I have 3 Samsung SyncMaster 900NF 19" flat screen monitors in my
studio, and I'm pleased with them. Around $350, independent RGB gain
adjustments, bright, sharp, don't eat much. They calibrate & profile
beautifully with a ColorVision Spyder and PhotoCal -- important for
serious b&w or color.
