I'm confused. In the quad (4-ink) machines, Piezo and FS inks can be used with the Epson driver and RGB Photoshop image adjustment curves. There are some workflows posted in the Files section of the forum. I used Piezo inks for some months before I started experimenting with different workflows and inksets. My first step was a set of RGB curves for the original Piezo inkset and the 1160 printer. Currently I occasionally use the FS-N in a 3000, where I prefer the Epson driver and for its blacks and some other advantages. With the hextone machines, the Epson driver does not work at all because the FS and Piezo cyan & photo (light) cyan are the same density -- likewise for the magenta & photo magenta. MIS now has what they call the FS-"E" series that is geared to the Epson driver, but I'm not sure anyone has developed workflows for the inks. I do use the Piezo driver for some things. For example, the paper profiles are useful in trying other papers. Also, I will use the Piezo driver when I try to make a dye-based Piezo/FS inkset. This will be for making digital internegatives for silver and platinum printing. Paul
