I have used both and I much prefer the Silverfast interface. One really nice
thing about Vuescan is the price. Silverfast's cost can get really steep
depending upon the specific scanner. Ultimately using a raw scan workflow
and adjusting in PS they can achieve the same result. Can't tell you about
the color neg side, although Silverfast does have "Negafix" to color correct
different films. Strictly B&W here. <G>
