Between issues like this bug and the fact that I'd have to re-install
all my plug-ins/filters, upgrading form 6 to 7 is something I wouldn't
even approach until the bugs are worked out.. Having worked in the IT
field for many years, people get fired for choosing to make the upgrade
transition to a version with bugs that impede production work in ways
the earlier version did not.. "New and improved" is NOT always better.
As a rule of thumb, I think it's advisable to virtually NEVER upgrade to
a new whole number version of ANY critical software until the first
major patch or service pack comes out.. (unless one of the new features
is something one cannot live without) Given the complexity of modern
software and the incrementalism of upgrades problems are bound to creep in..
I hope the problem gets isolated though, we don't want to simply have
multiple workflows floating around for various version of PS because
Adobe messed up.. If you gentlemen and ladies isolate it, I would hope
Adobe comes up with a quick patch. Please, make sure you send Adobe
feedback on whatever you find, it will help out the rest of the community..
