I've found a simply gorgeous and reasonably priced paper that prints quite well using Paul Roark's workflow and curves with NO adjustment... For those who want something in the opposite direction of the heavy parchment papers, something more akin to a Japanese style translucent paper, I have found a VERY affordable alternative to handmade Gampi. (of course it doesn't have all the same character, BUT it would work well not just for printing as a translucent media -- but to proof and idea you are considering printing on a more expensive Japanese paper) The paper in question is Red River Sheer at: http://site37706.dellhost.com/cgi-bin/merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=RRP&Category_Code=Sheer the item numbers are 8380 through 8387 I know that it says it does not work with pigmented inks, BUT it seems I am the first to have run the VM inkset on it... I'm using it to print 13x19s for two print exchanges of the following image: http://www.p-o-v-image.com/images/memoriam/Liberty_Roll4_26.jpg It works particularly well with the VM mix and Paul's Warm curve... NO Ruboff once DRY! I'll be interested to see what feedback people have on the print... Copies are also going to MIS and Red River as a thank-you for all their help.. So, there should be some objective assessments out there soon. Keith
