I get 4 very distinct tones with the VM inks. Possibly you have a
setting wrong somewhere. Or it could be the paper you use. You can use
the cold curve, and slide the magenta slider all the way to the right,
and you will get it quite blue. (The Magenta position bottle is pretty blue).
