I did as instructed, removed the Piezo cartridges, reinstalled the OEM Epson ones, ran a nozzle check and a few cleaning cycles, and all now appears to be normal. See my abject apology to the list. One of these years I will feel confident enough to participate in a print exchange, and then you can see whether this was worth all the fuss!
