Peter, I use a Nikon LS-4000, which I believe has similar, though not completely identical, software. When I tried to set up my B&W scans as you suggest above and turned off all color management then LCH editor was no longer available to use. Further, when I turn color management back on, and then had access to LCH editor, there was no luminosity option to fool with. Are the two softwares for the 4000 and 8000 that much different? Anyone know? (This may start to sound OT but it does involve the capture of B&W scans for the purpose of printing with my 1160 and MIS FS inks.) Best regards, Richard mailto:richard@...
