A while back I was considering buying an Apple flat panel display. I
went to my local Apple store and looked at all their flat panels
including the 15", 17", the Cinema display and the flat display on the
new iMAC. I made an interesting observation when carefully looking at
these monitors! The 15" & the iMac display exhibited a BIG density
change when you look at them from different angles on the vertical axis.
The 17" and the cinema display do not show this problem. When I
questioned the Apple staff at the store he told me that there was no
difference between the 15" display and the larger displays except their
size. This does not add up! They had a few of each size display set up
in the store and they all where consistent with my findings. There
certainly is a difference in these displays besides the SIZE difference!
