I believe there is a D-max increase on glossy, and Epson heavy weight matte even using the inexpensive Krylon spray, but for some strange reason I just could not get any good results with the Epson Archival Matte except for using the Photographic Lacquer spray with a slight loss in D-max. Maybe one should not use any spray on EAM papers.
