I spent a while with the authorized Epson spares company to determine whether any special work was needed to be done by a service centre or whether I could just install it myself. I was assured this was something I could do myself. I've now just emailed them to express my dissatisfaction with this and have enquired how they might get me a copy of this service software so I can complete the installation.
