Bob,

This is a sore point for me as I bought a 1160 head quite a while ago as a
spare to save me from having to buy a complete new 1160 when mine decided to
stop working. I spent a while with the authorized Epson spares company to
determine whether any special work was needed to be done by a service centre
or whether I could just install it myself. I was assured this was something
I could do myself. I've now just emailed them to express my dissatisfaction
with this and have enquired how they might get me a copy of this service
software so I can complete the installation. Let's see what they come up
with...
