i found a very easy workaround to the x-ray machine problem.. (and did this post 9/11) hand carry your film -- (in your carryon) -- remove it from your carry on when you go through security -- insist on a hand-check -- most of the time they will refuse unless you have high speed film (3200 ISO) -- so throw in 2 or 3 rolls on 3200 in your film bag .. preferably at the top -- this worked when traveling from LAX to El Salvador .. and from SFO to El Salvador -- ricardo ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry Olson" <jerryolson@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 23, 2002 2:25 PM Subject: Re: [Digital BW] FW: OT, x-ray protection question? > Do NOT let the airport Xray your film overseas.
