what is this alignment box stuff? and 1160 microbanding

2001-08-29 by Randy L

Hi list,
I have been away from the list for awhile and just signed back on. What
is the alignment box about? I have never seen this? Are these boxes
supposed to be on an 1160? I have been having microbanding problems with
my 1160 quad mis varitone/archival matte. Nozzle checks are perfect,
high speed is off, What else can I try? Do 1160 users just have to live
with micro banding? BTW the prints are beautiful otherwise.
Thanks
Randy Laskody
