Thanks for the informative reply. I already saw Paul Roark's RGB curves on the MIS website, which is the same place I found the link to this list. I will keep reading and digesting stuff... and asking questions... and playing with the machine once I get it, until I get the hang of it. Since I am fairly computer literate, and do some C programming, and other geek tasks, I will eventually figure it out.
