Given all the hype some time ( what it's been about 9 months now ) about sensor, it is odd that we haven't seen it. I would suspect there are some problems with fabrication of chips with consistent properties in large quantities to make it economically feasable. Not every good idea in semiconductor physics makes a good consumer product.
