Well, I only managed to take in the last few hours of today's "Inkjet Summit" in NJ, but it was interesting nonetheless - a proverbial shout out to Jonathan and Andrew, among others, for putting on the event. Finally got to see real output from an Epson 7600 (impressive with color, but the jury's still out with b/w IMO), an interesting demo of Fuji's S2 digi-SLR in a studio setup, complete with attractive models (I'll be keeping my Hexars nonetheless, thanks), and Imacon's Flextight Photo scanner, which in a way I wish I *hadn't* seen because the scans out of that thing - and the resulting prints - were astounding...and I can't afford it. It's the one thing I saw there that I felt was genuinely worth blowing a sizeable sum of cash for. - Barrett
