PT Selinium compared to. MIS FS-N

Hello all,

Although I'm fairly new at this I am getting some wonderful results
and am quite happy. After using MIS FS carts I switched to MIS FS-N
for my CFS as I found the MIS FS a little too warm (I like warm in
sepia, but it's either very warm or no warm for me, MIS FS was too
subtly warm). I really like the MIS FS-N. But I also love
traditional selenium prints that I have seen and am considering
trying the PT Selenium set when my 4oz. bottles of MIS FS-N run dry.
However, such a difference in PRICE! MIS FS-N 4 oz bottles go for
about $52 while the PT Selenium 4 oz set goes for $144!

Questions:
How would one describe the comparison between MIS FS-N and the PT
Seleniums from a tonal standpoint? How about overall results?
What's the big difference?

Are the PT Seleniums "worth" the huge difference in price? I realize
this is very subjective but just what are the aspects that exist that
convince those of you out there to pony up the extra $ for the PT vs.
the much more affordable MIS FS inks? I'm getting excellent results
so far and perhaps some will say "if you are happy stay with what you
have", but then again I do not like the "ignorance is bliss" that is
implied here. Never having seen PT Selenium results how can I know
how much happier I could be? And all this said I have never actually
seen or held another quadtone inkjet print in my hands, only my
own. So this is happiness built from some serious limited knowledge
and experience here. My prints can look really wonderful but still I
wonder. I am a participant in the July print exchange so I will see
some other results than my own soon but some comments about
the "great aspects" of the PT inks, especially the selenium set,
would be appreciated.

And all this said, will the PT Selenium inks work fine with the ver.
5.x PiezophotograhpyBW drivers I currently have?

Thanks.

Best regards,
 Richard Sintchak
