It still is... if you follow the old instructions and inject ink into the catridges. Instead, use the vacum pump method as outlined for the CIS system. You can get the pump from MIS as well now, but they seam to still backseat that method for the original injection method. The system I just had delivered this week still include instructions to inject. I don't know why anyone would do this when the vacuum method is easier by far! Though the price from MIS is much cheaper, the CIS system is engineered a bit nicer, but that is just cosmetics. The bottom line is $125 for CIS or $60 for MIS... prices are for an 1160 not including vacuum pump. The CIS may look better but the results are the same. Dave
