Digital BW, The Print

I'm getting ready to install my Nomorecarts CIS.  I was going 
through the instructions and lifted the blue covers of my 1160's 
carts, thus resetting the ink level indicators.  Actually, the ink 
levels in the color cart were very low.  I ran a couple of prints 
after resetting the indicator and then ran a nozzle check.  The 
magenta shows completely blank with the exception of the left side 
vertical bar.  Probably it is out of ink in that chamber.  

My question is whether I should install another color cartridge to 
make sure I get a perfect nozzle check before proceeding.  Thanks 
for any suggestions.
