Digital BW, The Print

I've been horribly impressed by the startling black and white beauty 
of Jon Cone piezographic inks on both H. Photo Rag and Epson Archival 
Matte papers. Next year I plan to invest in a full home piezography 
kit with the Epson 1280.

Lately I've been printing with my Epson C80 and many thanks to Karl 
for his reasons for explaining why I get no true black and white (but 
greyscale) on my glossy paper ;). Despite the color cast, the one 
thing that impressed me was that fact that when I rubbed my fingers 
and hands on the print, there isn't any smudging whatsoever on glossy 
paper. That I like for my test prints which will receive a lot of 
handling.

On the inkjetmall website concerning piezography, I keep on reading 
about the inability of using the piezography bw kits on glossy paper 
because of bronzing and/or the inability of the paper to help dry the 
inks. So my questions:

1) Is piezography not any good on all types of glossy papers e.g. 
Epson Premimum Glossy, Conetech Photo Gloss, Ilford Smooth Glossy 
Photo Paper?

2) Would Conetech Photo Gloss paper be any good or useable for 
piezography? If not, what can Conetech Photo Gloss paper be used for--
 color I presume or faux B and W prints?

3) Say I print a piezograph BW on Epson Archival Matte or Photo Rag? 
Would I have problems with the blacks getting smudgy if I rub my 
fingers across a piezographic matte print?

4) Does a piezographic matte print need protective spray if it is 
going to encounter "rough" treatment or handling?

5) Are there any commercially available books about the art of 
piezography which I can read up on? That would be great stuff on the 
train :)
