The con to getting a non-USA warranty camera if you live in the US, is that Nikon will not fix it for you for free. They will tell you it's a gray market camera. With a digital camera, I would recommend getting a USA camera. Cheaper is not worth the risk.

By the way, the Fuji S2(nikon mount also), is getting better reviews than either the Canon D60 or Nikon D100.
