The market for grayscale inks is currently probably under 10,000 users and maybe as little as 3,000. Not exactly a mother load of money. While we all detest Epson's practice of chipping their cartridges I have heard that HP aggressively sues the aftermarket ink and cartridge manufacturers. Even if the small companies could ultimately win, which from my understanding of US law they should, how do they manage the legal costs? So this maybe a damper on anything happening in that direction. Martin
