stylus 870 pizza cutter

looking for some info an the infamous pizza cutter phenomenon that 
happens with epson printers.  ive heard that taking the wheel out can 
fix the problem but ive just started looking for help on this 
situation so im not very much up to speed on it.  any help would be 
great
