I did the cleaning both from above and below.  It's just that the cartridges 
didn't seem to work at all then (after replacing).  The next set I opened 
from MIS were DOA.  So I'm thinking I've got a lot of bad cartridges again 
from MIS.  I did get another set going later, so it doesn't look like I 
failed to get rid of a clog.  I'm really frustrated with the MIS product 
quality, or, rather, lack thereof.  I bet the last set of cartridges (prior 
to cleaning) weren't completely full, similar to the ones I used before that. 
 Between improper filling and bad chips, it's a bit much!
