Andy, I just sucked out all the old VM ink out of the black position bottle with a syringe. First be sure you clamp off the black tube close to the place where it meets the bottle, so it doesn't have a chance to get any air in the tube, and then pour in the new enhanced black. If you mixed them in the bottle, you'd never get just the enhanced black flowing, so empty the bottle as good as you can, first. It should then take about 20 sheets of 13x19 inch paper, printing just the black ink to clean the cartridge out of the VM. Just use discarded old prints, or newspaper for the printing of just the black. By then, you'll see the new black kick in.
