For some things, digital works better (shooting for the web, or catalog work, studio still life etc.), and for some things (B&W, existing light...and general family shooting, as I find film easier to catalog and two for one prints are great ;-) Digital will come "of age" in a few years, at least for 35mmesque cameras, I have no doubts about that...but until then, I'll still be using mostly film, and certainly for medium format, film has really is the only way to go at this point in time.
