On ebay, I see the original GR1 going in mint shape for $250 - $300, which is a great deal -- the newer models add very little functionality, for about $300 more. The T2 is nice looking, but ergonomically inferior, and most lens tests seem to give the nod to the Ricoh. Oh, and I once dropped a GR1 on a stone floor (by accident, needless to say -- I don't recommend this) and it emerged with an almost imperceptible mark on one corner. Worked perfectly. To bring this on-topic: the meter is accurate enough to shoot Scala, which has minimal latitude, but scans beautifully... Douglas Cooper www.dysmedia.com
