Duo-tone prints...

2002-09-17 by Jim Panzer

Recently there has been some talk of using duo-tones with color
printers the get a toned print. I did this recently on an Epson 820 and it
came out good...at first, then it turned greenish tinted instead of the
goldish or yellowish tint it originally had. Is this what is meant by
"color shifting". Also, it seems like duo-tones (from Photoshop) would be a
great way for people with only a color printer to start printing toned, b&w
prints, it's funny that more people don't use them, is there something wrong
with using these pre-set duo-tones? Thanks.

Jim P
