I am hoping that it is due merely to not being able to yet keep the temperature down to 68-72 degrees f in the room (air conditioner doesn't turn on with outside temp below 65 degrees). I seem to be able to hold the RH at above 40% and it still has trouble now. The worst thing is that the deposits visible in the bottle seem lately to be increasing on probably a non-linear basis- and I have only had the CFS in operation for 1 1/2 months. As yet I don't notice anything in the tubing but this is harder to detect and anyway, the line is getting new ink in it every 12 hours. It shows up in the bottle. Our situations are probably different, as you know it is a dry climate here, perhaps even using an humidifier will not cut it for me. Replacement of the CFS every month or two is obviously not a viable solution. I was hoping for at least five months. We shall see. I think tossing the CFS/ remaining ink after some number of months is mandatory for some. Jim H.
