Digital BW, The Print

Stan,

I'd be a very dissatisfied customer until the 3000 could print visually
smooth prints -- no visible artifacts (without a loupe) with quads & the
Epson driver.  I, luckily, have no experience (yet) with the realities of
getting Epson repair people to get a mal-functioning 3000 back to that
standard, but I'd be inclined to take the machine back and tell them to get
it right.

  service dept (and I'm not through with them yet, even though they think
  they have done all they can do)
  Any help greatly appreciated.
  Also getting my 2200 and IP5 this week. More on that later.
