Yes, I have used various decoupage mediums with Gen4 inks. It all depends on the paper. On Red River Watercolor text there are no problems with bleeding or brush marks. On EAM, it is a mess unless you spray with Krylon first which kinda defeats the point...and then it still doesn't look so hot. I have tried only a couple of mediums. I do use decoupage medium sometimes to adhere prints to things....works good with all papers. Some items I've had sitting around inside and on my screened porch for a couple of years and they look fine. (This isn't high art, mind you : ) ) I just like to play with stuff. Also, there is a collage artist who has developed a technique for inkjet printing on Great White paper then coating either the print or a receiving paper with Golden Gel medium and then making a transfer. She does the same by printing on Apollo tranparencies and using them for transfers to fabric or paper. There is a Yahoo Group called Inkjet Transfer if anyone is interested. Very interesting artisitic effects. I've tried it but am still working on techique...it's one of those things that you have to fiddle with......and we *do* know about fiddlin' don't we? <g> lj ----- Original Message ----- From: "Luke Granfield" <luke@...> To: <DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@yahoogroups.com> Sent: Saturday, September 21, 2002 4:42 PM > > > > Has anyone tried coatings used by collage artists or decoupage artists? >
