I double checked everything - everything seems fine.

All wedges were printed at the same time on one page, each as a 
different layer with the various curves applied so I agree that 
there can't be much off with the settings.

I really don't know what I am doing with the partioning of curves 
but I did play around with the green channel and yellow channel a 
little (for interest, after the warm curve is applied the images 
that have a great deal of tonal range in greyscale seem almost 
totally green - ie, very little partioning, I guess this would lead 
to a very flat print as it is only calling off one 'ink colour' from 
the hextone set right?)
Anyway, my tweaked curve gave a huge improvement - I know it won't 
be balanced or have the correct densities or anything but it did 
show me that the printer should be OK.  

As I say, the other work fine.  

I'll try your re-sent curve on Monday..

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
