I would like some advice and assistance. I currently utilize an HP DeskJet printer 882c and need to seriously upgrade. I do digital art with Photoshop 7 and Bryce with the emphasis on the Surreal, abstract and manipulation primarily with the female nude in color and B&W. I print and frame most of my work and have reached the point where I wish to start utilizing better professional paper and possibly larger then 8x10 prints as I want to see if I can sell any. I would prefer not to have a curve type feed so that I can avail myself of the heavier stocks. I would also like to print from my digital camera. I would like to spend up to $500.00, unless there is a legitimate reason to go higher, and have been told that the Epson is the only consideration. This must be able to accept different types of paper and allow me to reduce the excessive cost of ink by shopping the internet (not much available for HP). The second problem is where to obtain. I reside in a gambling Mecca, but except for Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Office Depot I must drive 90 minutes to shop for supplies. Please let me know if there is a reliable and inexpensive source available on the net. Also reliable sources for ink and paper (need help on types to use also). I know I have asked a lot, but after following your e-mails, I realize that this is the forum to utilize. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
