You know what? I've been using Kodak Plus X, Tri X, T-max 100 and 400, with Rodinal, T-max and D 76. I ended up with the age old combination of Tri X and D 76 1 + 1. Couldn't work with T-max developer, Rodinal (maybe I didn't use it properly) worked to contrasty and strong, and D 76 1 + 1 never lets me down.
