Shilesh,

PiezographyBW treats a 6 color printer as a 4 color printer. The cyan and
magenta position inks are doubled-up in the photo positions and the driver
alternates between the two.

The EPSON RGB driver fires the photo position inks from 254-0 while the full
strength inks fire from 128 to 0. The photo position actually stops firing
before 0 - but this gives you an idea of why its difficult to produce a good
mono process for a 6 color printer without a special driver. It would be
easier to create a workflow if the inks crossed over and stopped.

A parser can actually trap the spool data being sent to each printer. If you
can read this type of data it is possible to understand specifically how
each new class of printer behaves.
