Digital BW, The Print

i just received, unboxed and installed my new epson 2200 printer.  i have
examples of a favorite portrait that i printed previously on RC and fiber
paper, and after about 2 hours of tweaking my system, i have achieved prints
that are arguably BETTER (yes, better) than my well-printed fiber sample.
yes, ladies and gentlemen, i cannot believe this myself.  i cannot tell you
how giddy i am about it.

i scanned a 35mm tri-x negative with a nikon ls-4000 on a windows system,
printed on epson premium lustre paper in black-only mode.

the 2200 rocks.
