I have updated our workflows comparison page at InkjetMall http://www.inkjetmall.com/store/workflow/workflow-differences.html We now have the visuals on the Jeff Randall workflow. These are not quality comparisons but rather comparisons which show how the black ink is handled differently than the PiezographyBW. I have been asked to do the same for the ImagePrint software as well as the original CMYK Cone Quads Methodology workflow that was taught at our digital print workshops prior to the PiezographyBW driver. I will try and get both these up soon. The Cone quads definitely use a lot of cyan under the black. We are not clear on how much cyan ImagePrint is using. Jeff's workflow seems to conserve even more ink that the Woolfe workflow, yet results in a full tone print. But this workflow is not a good candidate for use with PiezoTone black either, as it leaves it without much under-ink support. Piezography Museum Black will be better for both of the RGB workflows. Portfolio Black will be adequate if fade similar to MIS-FS black is acceptable. Piezography Museum Black Starting Optical Density 1.68 O.D.
