Purchased ImagePrint 5.0 for Epson 2200. Running Windows 98SE. Clicking the "Print" command on ImagePrint caused my computer to bluescreen crash everytime. A 3-hour troubleshoot with ColorByte tech support resulted in a return authorization # for a refund. They don't recommend ImagePrint 5.0 for Windows 98, although it says it will work with Windows 98 on the system requirements panel. Evidently if you're lucky it will work on 98, but probably won't -- their tech support folks say Windows 98 is "too unstable". They say it works great on XP, but I'm not ready for that hassle yet -- I'll switch over on my next computer. In the meantime, my EP2200 grayscale images are still unacceptable even after using an EyeOne spectrophotometer and ProfileMaker 4 software. Whodathunkit.
