The one thing I like about the one I got at Comp USA is their 
replacement warranty. I actually bought a used 1270 for $150. Just on 
a whim I asked the woman if she had the original reciept. She had and 
she noted it had an extended warranty. I thought to myself "it's 
used..why not just say it's not working great and see if they'll 
service it up to standards" thinking I would at least have a 
perfectly working printer. To my surprise and delight, because she 
had a replacement guarantee they gave me a brand new 1280 for free! I 
couldn't believe it. It was a no brainer to purchase a new 
replacement warranty with my new 1280 for $30. A year from now when 
the warranty is about to expire I can just get a new one or, better 
still, a new improved version. I wonder if that rebate is available 
at all retail locations right now. Do you think it might be?
