Yes. But, now that I (we've) got the 1160 doing acceptable BO my 1270 is not
an issue. I'll continue using that
printer for color.

Yes. Very acceptable black but, then again, my opinions on "acceptable" for
black might be different
than a lot of other folks. I remember back in the "good old days" of silver
printing when we used such papers
as Ilfomar, Cykora, Dupont Velour Black, etc. I really could not see any
difference between, say, a 1.9 black
and a 2.0 black. Granted, some of these papers were absolutely awful. And,
the difference between 1.7 and
2.2 black was easily discrenable. But, all the "good" papers produced a good
'nuff black for me! ;>)

Great news, to me, because it appears that BO printing will offer me yet
another "tool" to be used when appropriate. I just love
options!! <g>
