Jerry I only tried 2880 dpi once. Since 2880 isn't supported for matt paper, I used the PGPP setting but got prints that were much lighter. Due to the time involved, and since I was happy with 1440, I didn't bother to take it any further. What settings are you using to print 2880? Are you having to tweak the sliders or the image before printing? It sounds like it might be worth revisiting for smaller images. K2
