However, the stock profiles.. SUCK!  If you think the EPSON ones are a 
bit inaccurate, the Canon ones are just awful..  

They don't even use a proper ICC profile for the printer if you'd 
believe that.. It's some kind of CMYK kludge that they implement 
conversion of in the driver..

Easy answer though.. I got profiling software (profilerPlus)  and now 
build my own profiles.. I can use any ink and media I want..  ;-P

They and Nikon both seem to neglect supportive software. Slow software 
updates, less than stellar interfaces, etc..  

We'll see when/if they both get the message that the software is AS 
important as the hardware..
