Pete, You know what? I am not going anywhere. I have every right to be here, and discuss any subject relevant to bw printing. I have been a member of this list since the first day it came online, and before that was a member of the Cone list. I can't understand your attitude toward me, as I have been more than clear where I am coming from and what my intentions are. When I get this quad ink running in my printer, you will hear more about it. I haven't tried to sell any of this ink to anyone, and I don't intend to use this list to spam. The qoute you were referring to was told to me by the inventor of this ink. I don't know squat about Iris printers, and I don't care about them. I would imagine that any ink that with modification can run through them could probably do fine in an epson. That was my only point. Gary Finnoe spent all weekend running this ink through a Xia. If I was selling you Iris ink, I would probably have been there to watch it myself, so I could tell you more. No, I wasn't suggesting that we unplug a 9000 cart and hook it up to a Xia. Give me a little credit. If you read the last line of my last post, you would see that I invited people with question to contact me offlist. There are more important things in the here and now to discuss. I Do resent your hostile attitute toward me. You questioned my integrity and that was uncalled for. If you dispute something I said you certainly can do it in a more dignified way, and we can talk about it. If you want to step outside, then lets spare the list - we are here to learn from each other. Besides, Mark Tucker said he thinks I may be a straight shooter, and I KNOW he doesn't just say that about anybody <g> If I need to repeat this just for you, Pete, I will. When I get this ink, if it turns out to be a dog, I will gladly report it. I was offered a great opprotunity to be a dealer for this ink, I and I was impressed with what I saw. I don't think it will be a dog, but I'm nobody's yes man. So, knock it off. Personally, I'm tired of this subject for now. There is no more about Indelible inks to take up bandwidth today. I want to read posts from a lot of people I respect on this list. When I have something to tell, I will. Lets kill this thread for awhile, huh? best to all, even you, Pete, Tony Caltabiano --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@y..., pete baydar <bpeteb@y...> wrote: > re: > >Date: Mon, 10 Sep 2001 05:43:17 -0000 > >From: "Tony Caltabiano" <calpen1@a...> > >Subject: Re: another ink option > > > >Todd, > Yes, these are pure pigments - they are very finely > ground and are > >running thorugh Iris printers in testing right now > from what I understand. > > Well this is going too far with us.
