Re: Problems with my 1160

2002-12-19 by steven0356 <stevenr@mindspring.com>

Hey Martin,

I cleaned the bottom of the head with towels wet with Windex, which
seemed to work well. Thanks.

I am still not getting a good nozzle check. I have heard of soaking
the parking pad with Windex, and leaving it over night, but why should
I reinstall the Epson cartridges, and then run them through the nozzle
cleaning cycle? Will the epson inks help dissolve the clogged MIS
inks in the head?

Thanks again

Steve
