Martin: The MYSS you mentioned came from me. It in my sig. I have not blatently posted anything about MYSS on this list and I do not intend to do such. I have been creating black and white prints probably longer than some of the list members have been living. The ability to make prints is not that difficult. It does take knowledge and practice. This list surely trys to impart knowledge. Practice you have to do on your own. The problem I see is what do you do with the print after you make it? If you are a hobbiest and printing them for your own pleasure that is fine. You can announce to this list that you made a new print with such and such ink and paper on such and such printer and maybe 50 people will know about it. But if you are a professional, as I believe some of you are, then you have to sell your prints. You may sell them in galleries, art shows, or the internet. If you are trying to sell your work and no one knows about you then it doesn't matter how good of a print you make. You are going to fail. The MYSS in my signature is for those who may want to do more than just play. In the future I will try and be a bit more sensitive you your feelings.
