The reverse side of eclipse is as smooth as the Epson EAM paper.

I've noticed that photo matte from legion tends to block up in very
finely detailed prints.  Especially if you
have something like white lettering on a black background, the white
tends to fill in too much. Even at the 
high resolutions. But other than that, its a fine paper.
