Hello, I had the classic clog from hell, so finally had to remove the CIS carts on my 1280 to flush out the nipples on the printhead. When I took out the carts, of course, there developed air in the tubing. How do I remove the air? I'm guessing that the only way to do this is to basically reinstall the whole CIS system, using the syringe and vaccum out the air from the carts. What about the ink in the carts? What is best to use on the bottom of the carts to seal them so that a vacuum can be created? If there is an easier way to get rid of the air, I'd appreciate any help. Thanks for your help! Cheers, Jack Bohlka www.southwesternexposure.com
