Still tentative, since I've been running the inks for maybe only six weeks. I have had maybe four minor clogs in all that time. My 1280 with VM MIS inks would constantly clog within a day or two if not exercised by comparison. A large difference. One day when running about 20-25 prints I got banding suddenly appear in middle of print after a perfect nozzle check before hand. It cleared after one cleaning cycle but I did have to waste the print. And it did it three times during this session. I had left printer off for six days prior to this. It could be this, or a bad light K cart, or maybe more likely, the 2200 guy at Colorbyte told me the 2200 sometimes does this and I need to swap it out. Last week it did it once again, in the middle of a large print. While I wait for a replacement to show up at my store, I continue printing, using a new cart to see if I can get it to happen again. This issue, although it wastes paper/ink, is not a show stopper because it happens infrequently. Even with the problem, it is FAR FAR more reliable in this climate than my 1280/VM MIS. Well, that's the tentative notion I have about it at this point in time. And time will tell... Jim H.
